• Bihar is home to a multitude of tribes that constitute the major chunk of social and culture map of Bihar. Before the year 2000, the number was even higher. But after the segregation of Jharkhand state, most of the tribes have moved to the Jharkhand. The State has a total of thirty-two (32) Scheduled Tribes and all of them have been enumerated at 2011 census.
